About

Tokyopin is an independent guide to Tokyo, built around one idea: the city is easier to love when you can see it.

Every neighborhood has a colour, a shape on the map and a handful of places we would actually send a friend to. Subcultures are the second axis: whether you are here for anime, vinyl, streetwear, temples or late-night ramen, you can filter the whole city by what you care about.

The guide is written by people who walk these streets, published in six languages, and kept deliberately fast so it works on a phone in a crowded station with one bar of signal.

Some links are partner links and some pages carry advertising; they never influence what we recommend.
